- Summer (October - March) temperatures range from a minimum of 14°C to a maximum of 36°C.
- The wet season extends from October to March with hot days and warm nights. Winter temperatures range from a minimum of 2°C to a maximum of 22°C.
- The dry season extends from May to September with warm days and cold nights.
- The Waterberg is a non-malaria area with mainly a temperate climate although can get cold on winter nights and there certainly are some very hot days especially before the rain season starts in October/November.
